ASS BACKWARDS
ASS BACKWARDS
Larry Jones
It was sitting
by the side of the road.
I felt a connection to the
old broken down toilet,
standard white ceramic type.
I tried to take some pictures
with my cell phone.
When I got home
I looked at what I’d snapped.
No piece of junk toilet,
but several extreme close ups
of my hairy nose
and ancient squinty brown eyes.
Same shit.

Larry has only sent in one poem, but I just love it.
great stuff
Thanks Tom and thanks for posting this one Philip.
very funny; very gentle; very clean; very grey and white with a hint of sepia thrown in with the ‘ancient eyes’; excellent – I would love it wholly but for the very last line
Donkey forward to humor us.
