CHASING

CHASING
Dawnell Harrison

The sun
Was chasing
The clouds
Away like

The thunder
Of wild horses
In Montana –
Heavy manes

Flying
In the air.
They could not
Be contained

Like fruit
In a jar –
There was
Just freedom

And truth
And beauty
Tossing about
High in the mountains.
