Neil Ellman

She spectacular-sleek
lines of a ‘64 Chevy Impala
stretching, reaching
“Hello” be mine
“Hello” the thrust
hold me
trust me
in the morning
I will still be yours
while we explore
each other’s world
and feel
the quickening motors
of our desire—
she knows the speed
of a lion’s kiss
before I ride her
into the night.

  1. More spicy fun from Neil Ellman. I’m reminded of a Thomas Dolby song called The Keys to Her Ferrari…now that’s recondite retro…

Read Neil’s other fine work, including ODE TO JENNA JAMESON, by clicking the link and following the Older Posts tab:

  2. A true rock’n roll poem.
