WHEN LIFE IS A PANCAKE:  FLIP IT OVER TO BAKE THE OTHER SIDE…
Korliss Sewer

The yellow dragon comes to a stop in front of the apothecary. Short arms dangle from its steamy innards as the hiss
of compression brakes stir anxiety for blue-toothed workers. They curse the ragged children who carelessly meander
into the path of their evening commute.
Disruptive little ones cross mid-block, and run into the waiting arms of tattooed women who hold prayer vigil
on the rain-dampened street corner, and greet them with secondhand smoke.
