Ivan Jenson

You know what makes me tick
talk about being on the same
wavelength and you are
talking about us
against the world, wind
and tide
this is what it means to meet
your twin soul shaped like the missing
puzzle piece
because you end my
sentences and begin
my day
you get me
and my quirks, quips
and you excuse my blips
and bloopers
like a real trooper
thanks for being
near, dear and here
for me like an
angel sitting on
the North Star
playing an electric
harp like nobody’s
you are the whole
world which I hold
in my hand
for I am  never alone
with you
my sleek, sexy

  1. More wordplay and wit from Ivan Jenson.

Read his other good work by clicking the link and following “Older Posts”:

  2. Speak easy immersion play on delicate syntax in originality of observation and light metaphors makes for a cool notion and emotive of language shared with others.

  3. I get this. The malodorous profundity of post-modern life will forever dissipate our human condition.
