WHERE DOES THE HEADACHE COME FROM?

Don’t know about yours; my headache
Comes from sleepless nights, stupid worries,
From straining to understand in vain,
From a missed cup of tea or a glass of water,
From words that pretend to be a poem
But are really only good for a headache.

What does it matter where it comes from?
When it’s here, the only thing that counts
Is the time of its departure — unknown.
Bring in painkillers. Stop wondering about
Where the bloody headache comes from.
